Technology is one of the most crucial factors in the ongoing Russian–Ukrainian war. Our victory depends on how quickly and effectively we integrate it into everyday military practice. One of the tactical-level innovations is a combat robot—a mobile machine-gun platform designed to move across terrain and engage enemy forces. The device is operated remotely, helping to protect our soldiers from hostile fire. The more such platforms are deployed on the front line, the more enemy forces will be neutralized—and the more of our warriors will remain alive and unharmed.
That is why Dukat Auction House held a charity art auction, with all proceeds directed toward the purchase of these machine-gun platforms for the “Honor” combat unit, which fights as part of the “Da Vinci Wolves” battalion.
The auction featured a unique selection, where works by prominent contemporary artists were presented alongside pieces by the Sixtiers—members of what Vasyl Stus once called a “small handful” of like-minded individuals who preserved Ukrainian culture during its darkest times. Their resistance to Russian-Soviet imperialism continues today—now on the battlefield.
We sincerely thank the families of Ukrainian nonconformist artists who contributed works to this charity auction. These outstanding artists continue to live on through their works and resist the system even after their physical passing. We also extend our heartfelt gratitude to contemporary artists and private collectors who generously supported this initiative.
